The idea of a dragon mount started off as a blast, and a whole lot bigger, but I also tried a different medium, which didn't go so well. He looks really neat, but the choice of clay ended with him pretty much falling apart.

So I moved on, and started working on a smaller dragon mount in a polymer based clay.

Much happier dragon, he really does think your crunchy and good with ketchup. He's finished with airbrushing and handpainted details.

Then mounted on a stained board.
